I am an experienced engineer, research scientist and STEM instructor that has been tutoring professionally for over 10 years. I have taught AP math and science test prep courses, so I know the curriculum. I have also helped students individually throughout the academic year with homework assistance, exam preparation and ensuring they understand the content.

Dedicated to Individual Students

In my experience as a math teacher, one of the most important things I have learned is that each student learns at a different pace and has a unique learning style. I work with each student to target and strengthen weakness areas and cater to individual needs by providing personalized lessons and practice problems to help each student learn and grow.

For every hour I meet and tutor with I student, I am spending at least 30 minutes of planning prior to the session developing detailed lesson plans and personalized practice problems.

Experience Matters

Take advantage of working directly with me over a large tutoring agency where you don't know the tutor you will be working with ahead of time. I have a background in a demanding STEM field and several years of teaching/tutoring experience. So not only do I know the material, but I know how to relate it to students. I also understand that teaching every student is different. This is why I regularly assess each and every student and continually adjust lesson plans accordingly.
